Note: I screwed up and didn’t get this episode out until now. COVID is running through our household so episodes of “This Week in Outrage” are in limbo for a while.
In this episode, Lisa and David talk about the Iowa abortion ban; new Schoolhouse Rock; cocaine in the White House; MTG, the Freedom Caucus, and throwing lawsuits at the wall; Ninth Circuit homelessness ruling; followup on causes of increased pedestrian deaths; Florida refusing to recognize some driver’s licenses; cities choosing to selectively enforce laws (or not) based on Constitutionality; Desantis fires his campaign staff; Lisa Marie Presley cause of death; “No Labels” third party presidential run and our two-party duopoly lock; cremated remains lost in the mail; and more.
Fact check update on the story mentioned about Carlee Russell, the Alabama woman who returned home after she went missing for two days: "We've been unable to verify most of Carlee's initial statement made to investigators and we have no reason to believe that there is a threat to the public safety related to this particular case," Hoover Police Department Chief Nicholas Derzis said, according to ABC News.
